As a thank you to Greys Landing for the work that we do we have received three fabulous donations for a special fundraising raffle to help pay down our vet bill. The winning tickets will be drawn on Saturday, June 2, 2012. The first winner will have their choice of the three prizes. The second winner will have their choice of the remaining two prizes. The third winner will receive the remaining prize.
The prizes:
Mosaic Glass Greyhound – This is an amazing mosaic Greyhound that measures approximately 45" X 12". This large mosaic glass piece would look fabulous as a focal point hanging on a wall in your home. This beautiful work of art in glass was made by Mary Davis of Cheeky's Glass Art.
Greyhound Pocket Watch – This beautiful greyhound watch is British made, with great care for quality. The main body of the watch is nickel plated brass and the front is fine English pewter. It has quartz movement and a 3 year battery. The watch was made in the United Kingdom by A.E. Williams (established 1779), members of the Worshipful Company of Pewterers. It measures 1 3/4" in diameter with an approximate depth of 5/8". The chain measures approximately 13". Attractive and functional.
Original Graphite Portrait – "The Next Race" is an original graphite portrait by gifted artist Esther Clair. It captures the different and related sides of the greyhound - the intensity and nobility of the racer, and the relaxed beauty of a hound in retirement. A race won in each phase of the greyhound's life. This beautiful, original portrait measures 10" x 12". The artist will never use this work to produce prints or cards. It will belong exclusively to the winner, to grace their home and their heart.
Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 and can be purchased through PayPal.
When we receive your payment we will e-mail your ticket numbers to you. Please keep your ticket information handy until the draw, which will take place on Saturday, June 2, 2012. The winning tickets will be drawn in front of witnesses by a person who is not affiliated with Greys Landing.
