As avid greyhound supporters, we have volunteered ourselves to join in the mission of placing retired racing greyhounds.
The available greyhounds mostly come from the track at Wheeling Island and the breeding farms & kennels located in the northern panhandle of West Virginia.

We are able to place our retirees in a variety of ways. As a potential direct adopter, you (and your hounds or other pets) may be asked to visit with one or more of our adoptables in advance. This assures us of a positive experience for all involved. We also work with various other groups in the surrounding states.
We are incorporated in the state of West Virginia. We are an all volunteer, non-profit, tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code. All donations and gifts are tax deductible.
As a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization, we are always looking for donations. Our placement / adoption fees only cover part of the expenses in finding these greyhounds homes. Please note that we are a pro-racing organization. We work directly with the breeders, owners, and trainers of the greyhounds we place. We support them in their business as much as they support us through providing wonderful greyhounds for adoption. They are among the very best in the business when it comes to the care and love for the hounds. Our adoption program is based on providing assurance to the racing community that their retirees will find wonderful and loving homes.
Please note that the greyhounds listed on this site are in no danger. They are all being very well taken care of and are loved by their caretakers.
